Bio
Jay Jackson is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Abacus Global Management (Nasdaq: ABL). He is an expert in investments, alternative assets, and portfolio management, with a passion for innovation and growth. Jackson is committed to advancing the knowledge and practice of wealth management in the age of longevity.
Mr. Jackson began his career at Franklin Templeton Investments, where he served as Vice President for more than a decade. Prior to joining Abacus, Mr. Jackson co-founded and managed the Fayerweather Street Life Fund, as well as the Cambridge Life Management origination platform for FDO Partners, a $3 billion quantitative investment firm founded by Harvard Business School Professor Ken Froot.
With over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Jay pioneered the four distinct yet complementary divisions of Abacus Global Management: Abacus Life Solutions, Abacus Asset Group, ABL Tech, and ABL Wealth. About Abacus Global Management: Abacus is a rare offering: serving as the originator and market maker of the asset we purchase and manage, we provide a distinct advantage for consumers seeking to monetize insurance policies and investors seeking to deploy capital, as we are deeply entrenched at every stage of the process.
In a highly regulated and difficult-to-access insurance marketplace, we provide the maximum opportunity for the consumer and ensure the quality of the underlying asset for investors. With $10 billion in face value of policies purchased since 2004, Abacus is the only publicly traded global alternative asset manager focused on lifespan-based financial products, available on the Nasdaq Exchange under ticker symbol ABL.
