Many investors miss noticing the difference between investment returns and investor returns. Sounds the same, right? Well, not really. The number you see on a mutual fund’s factsheet and the return you actually experience in your portfolio can be very different. Why does that happen? Is it the market? Is it timing? Or… is it us?
