The average couple had 5 to 10 time more in money than those who are single and do not own a home. Typically, people do not consider marriage and owning a home as a retirement plan — but they should.
A lot of people want to stay free by renting and being single the rest of their lives; I get it. But also consider we all get old, situations change, and life happens.
