Welcome back to Sleepy Scriptures. In this episode, I’ll read the Old Testament books of Habakkuk, Zephaniah, and Haggai from the King James Bible.
In Habakkuk, we hear the prophet’s cry for justice and his declaration of unwavering faith: “Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation” (Habakkuk 3:18).
Zephaniah brings both warning and hope, proclaiming the coming day of the Lord, but also God’s promise: “The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy” (Zephaniah 3:17).
Finally, in Haggai, the Lord encourages His people to rebuild His house, assuring them: “The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former” (Haggai 2:9).
Accompanied by gentle, relaxing music, these prophetic words invite you to reflect, find comfort, and drift peacefully into rest.
