Claudio Reilsono is the General Manager and professional baseball scout with the Global Scouting Bureau and the head baseball Coach at Carnegie Mellon University.

About today’s guest

Claudio Reilsono is the General Manager and professional baseball scout with the Global Scouting Bureau as well as the head baseball Coach at Carnegie Mellon University. During his tenure the team has had its most successful seasons including two consecutive conference championships in 2015 and 2016. Reilsono is the all-time leader in wins at CMU.

As a professional scout, Claudio has assisted in professional player signings all over the world and was named General Manager of the Global Scouting Bureau in 2002. Claudio is also a professional hitting instructor, conducts his own hitting camps in several states, produced a hitting video in 2003, and is a hired instructor at many baseball camps.

In 2011 Claudio was voted into the Carnegie Mellon University Baseball Hall of Fame and was awarded the Willie Stargell MVP Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2014, he was voted into the Steel City Sports Hall of Fame and in 2016 was named Italian Coach of the Year by the National Italian American Sports Hall of Fame (Pittsburgh Chapter).
