"As I Have Always Been" tells a tear-jerker of a story when the Zephyr gets stuck in a time loop that causes the team to repeat the same short moments over and over. But they only have a limited amount of time to stop it before their ultimate destruction. Luckily, Daisy and Coulson are able to remember what has happened each time they loop. However, the key to saving everyone lies in the brain of Jemma Simmons and they can't get to it without removing the chip in her head which will spell certain defeat from a pre-programmed Enoch. If they are going to survive, it may mean the ultimate sacrifice for one of our heroes. Jay and Josh just keep looking up what the word 'phlebotenum' means on this week's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Case Files.
