Prosperity is defined by the Marrian Webster dictionary as "the condition of being successful or thriving, especially by making a lot of money". Abundance, which is a term also widely used in spiritual circles in the context of the law of attraction is defined as "a very large quantity of something". It is interesting that there is no concept of success linked to it, nor of money. And in reality, you could have an abundance of bills or debt. And abundance can have connotations of clutter to me. And lastly, wealth is defined as "a plentiful supply of a particularly desirable thing".

This is where the episode about what I call True Prosperity starts. Definitions. And you can see how abundance and wealth don't really fit in my EPIC framework because as such they are not profound enough to lead to success. Prosperity does not necessarily link to materialism, and I like that. Or at least there need not be. The notion of money is added towards the end of the definition more as an example.

i also talk about perfectionism because perfectionists could be prosperous and successful and yet not feel the success and prosperity attached to it. They simply move the goalpost as soon as they reach it. And that of course, can lead to burnout. We need to talk about success when we talk about prosperity because it is an entirely personal notion. I invite you to reflect on what success means to you.

In the third part of the podcast, I talk about manifesting. This is a topic I already touched upon in Episode 32 titled the Gentle Art of Manifesting. Forgiveness and gratitude are two pillars of prosperity. If we hold grudges about people, we hold our prosperity back. If we are not grateful for what we already have, same.
