What does it take to reinvent yourself after a lifetime of service?

Meet "Navy Bob" Roncska. βš“

During his 28-year career in the U.S. Navy, retired Capt. Robert "Navy Bob" Roncska not only commanded a nuclear-powered submarine, he also led the largest squadron in the U.S. Navy's submarine fleet. He served as Aide to President George W. Bush, who nicknamed him "Navy Bob," and carried the "nuclear football," which held the President's launch codes.

When he retired in 2018, Navy Bob didn't slow down. Instead, he launched a whole new mission. Entering the world of health care, Navy Bob used lessons from the military to improve patient safety in hospitals. Since then, he's earned his Doctorate in Business Administration, written two books, and started his own leadership company, Leading with Love. ❀️

In this episode of Reinvention at Any Age with Amy Sweezey, Navy Bob shares what it takes to lead with compassion, start over with purpose, and live a life guided by love and service.
