In this episode, I explore what it means to follow Christ as a former Muslim in America. I talk about how my faith was challenged and reshaped as I encountered a version of Christianity deeply intertwined with American culture, politics, and the pursuit of comfort. I share my honest struggles and disappointments with the Evangelical Church, wrestling with questions of identity, truth, and what it really means to be a Christian in today’s world.

Drawing from history, scripture, and my own story, I explore how the church moved from the margins to the center of power, and how that shift has affected our faith. I examine the rise of prosperity gospel, nationalism, and consumerism, and contrast these with the radical, sacrificial love that Jesus calls us to embody. Through it all, I invite you to join me in seeking a faith that is authentic, humble, and transformative—a faith rooted not in cultural labels or comfort, but in the living example of Christ. If you’ve ever questioned what it means to follow Jesus truly, this episode is for you.
