This is episode #62, where Melissa Center will read Joshua Young’s blog post “Embracing Identity Amidst the Shadows of Antisemitism.” Melissa is a writer, producer, director, and actress who has starred in numerous film and television projects including, R.V., This is Us, Grey’s Anatomy, True Detective, FBI and will guest star on NBC’s Chicago Fire, airing on April 10th. In addition to her on-screen work, Melissa is a veteran theater actress, appearing in numerous productions, including Macbeth, Sex with Strangers, and her current one-woman show entitled Marrying Jake Gyllenhaal, where she exposes mother-daughter relationships, gender, sexuality, harassment, and trauma, love and longing and trust in ourselves…Marrying Jake Gyllenhaal will have a special limited run at the Caveat Theatre in New York City in May and June of this year.
