What a banger of a game to be there — even if it was the nosebleeds.

Even if the Timberwolves did the bare minimum and beat the Warriors without Steph Curry to tie the playoff series at 1-1. Even if Minnesota turned in a B- performance. Even if Anthony Edwards was B- at best.

Even if ANT made every Wolves fan's heart plummet into their guts after nose diving into an ankle injury and took him out of the game for a while. And even if, after his return, the Wolves couldn't knock out the Warriors until the fourth quarter when it should've been over far sooner.

It was still a banger, at least for Happy Hour host John Gaskins and his happy hour cocktail buddy for years, Sunny's Pizzeria and Orion Pub owner Jon Oppold.

The two Wolves fans pow wow from their downtown Minneapolis hotel the morning after the game about what shook down and what to make of the series and where the Wolves are in the arc to, dare we say it, maybe an...... don't say it!...... NBA title someday.

No, they weren't still drunk from the night before. Just a little hungover. And it's not crazy talk. Or maybe it is. You decide.
