Letting Go of What You Cannot Control

In life, it’s easy to get caught in the struggle of trying to control everything. We plan, we worry, and we try to fix things that are beyond our power. But what if the peace we seek comes from surrendering control to God?

The truth is, there are things we simply cannot control—others’ choices, the future, or even the outcome of our efforts. When we release these burdens, we make room for God’s peace. Jesus calls us to trust Him with everything, knowing that He sees the bigger picture we often miss.

When we let go, we find freedom. It’s not about giving up hope but about giving up the need to dictate every outcome. Instead, we rest in the assurance that God is in control. He promises to work all things together for good (Romans 8:28), even when we don’t understand why things unfold the way they do.

Take a deep breath today and release what’s weighing on your heart. Trust that God has it in His hands. He’s got this. And you can rest in His love and provision.

Prayer: Lord, help me release the things I cannot control. Fill me with Your peace as I trust You fully. Amen.
