Microsoft offered to extend the life of Windows 10 for home users, for that sweet, sweet money. $30 to be exact. But at least the Windows 11 haters have somewhere they can stay. For a while. VMware decided to ditch its proprietary Workstation virtualization tech and piggyback on good ole KVM. And happy birthday to both Notepad++ and LetsEncrypt, who turned 21 and 10 respectively. The tech world would be a lot less sweet without them.
