We had the chance to sit down with Dr. Jessica Lindberg and Joe Head, both with Georgia Highlands College, to discuss two different events. The first, happening tomorrow, Tuesday, September 30 between 1PM and 2PM, there will be a Medal of Honor event via CSX railroad. Following the same path as the Civil War's Great Locomotive Chase, a special honor car will be transporting upwards of 20 current Medal of Honor recipients from Atlanta to Chattanooga. That train is expected to make it's way thorugh downtown Cartersville between 1PM and 2PM. Then, Dr. Jessica Lindberg joins to let us know that the GHC Cartersville campus has been selected to air a preview of the new Ken Burns documentary called, "The American Revolution." This is a free event on Tuesday, Octonber 28 at 6PM, but you do need to register so the campus can get a headcount.
