This week on WDDD? La Shaunda tells the awful story of the murder of Henry Dodd.

Born and raised in Tennessee, 6-year-old Mindy met her stepfather, Henry, when he married her mother. Within a couple of years, Henry began engaging in inappropriate behavior with Mindy without her mother, Betty's, knowledge. This continued until Mindy became pregnant with Henry's child, leading to their marriage after Henry and Betty divorced.

Henry maintained an abusive hold over the entire household, including his nephew, James, until Mindy and James devised a plan to free themselves from his abusive reign.

When Henry was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds, it didn't take the police long to unravel the complexities of this family situation.

Join us for this gut-wrenching story of betrayal and the, albeit misguided, fight for freedom from a family oppressor.
