[00:00] Grace shares how losing her best friend to addiction and illness inspired her book Chill Out and Cheer Up. Writing became her way of honoring him and starting her healing journey.

[05:00] She reflects on grief as deeply personal and multidimensional. Despite carrying guilt, she leaned into her natural optimism and gratitude to avoid self-destruction and find purpose.

[10:00] Her book evolved into a 10-step guide: the first half addresses fear, doubt, and pressure, while the second half focuses on connection, solitude, nature, and positive thinking.

[15:00] Despite writing about mental health, she neglected her own. The pressures of entrepreneurship, breakups, and family challenges led to a breakdown and six months in a clinic.

[20:00] Grace began to rebuild through rest, forgiveness, and small acts of self-care. She learned that stillness and honoring emotions are essential parts of healing.

[25:00] Kelley and Grace discuss the paradox of stillness: slowing down actually creates abundance and growth. Grace affirms that presence attracts opportunities and even brought her dream job.

[30:00] Grace reveals her next chapter: moving to Costa Rica to become a jungle school teacher, combining her passions for children, nature, and holistic living.

[35:00] They explore inner child healing. Grace emphasizes that children naturally embody joy and confidence, and adults can reconnect to this energy through play, creativity, and courage.

[40:00] Alignment is Grace’s word of the year. At 21 she wanted to “save everyone,” but now at 30 she trusts intuition, clarity, and alignment without needing to prove herself.

[42:00] She defines success as surrender. Her three tips for unleashing greatness: be present, practice gratitude, and believe in yourself. Her call to action: put down your phone and create space for real connection and alignment.
