In this episode, Travis and Jess talk with their good friend Danny Smith-lead singer/songwriter for the band Wasperjaws. They reminisce on meeting one another over a decade ago while working at a children's home in South Carolina. Danny talks about the story behind Wasperjaws' name and the adventures of forming a local four piece band as a fun side project with his wife Ashley and friends.

Danny shares an amazing story involving their newest album getting shared by one of members of The Avett Brothers on Instagram. The three talk about the creative process, the art of storytelling, and what inspires Danny's songwriting. He plays a couple of songs from their latest album (recorded during the podcast). The conversation has plenty of stories, laughs, and thoughts about life.
