Raised in a broken home from a young age, Jonnie recognized the emptiness of life and the need to escape from the surrounding bitterness of his environment. As a result, he gave his heart to Jesus at the age of 19. While that initial experience was vibrant and personal, Jonnie struggled to maintain it and strayed back into the world for a few years. In his mid-twenties, Jonnie realized the need for change in his life, and, reconnected with Jesus again. Through personal struggles and the Grace of God, he has grown and matured spiritually over the years, and, now serves God daily with an uncompromising passion and love. He is blessed to be the host and producer of the Refuge Freedom Stories podcast that shares stories of people's lives changed by the Power of God.
