In this episode, Brad interviews two biologists to provide some clarity on the nature of this virus, how our immune systems work, how that factors into treatment of other viruses, how the scientific community approaches these kinds of problems, and finally, a little discussion on how anti-evolution has made us less equipped to address a pandemic. Interviewed in this episode were Dr. Richard Broughton, an evolutionary biologist and chair of the biology department at the University of Oklahoma; and Dr. Doug Mock, retired professor of behavior ecology, also from OU's biology department.
