While not everyone is a father, we all have a father, and the journeys that fathers take through life impact not only their relationships with God, but also their children's relationships with them and God. All fathers wound their children—whether intentional or not—and often, this is a generational cycle. In order to fully step into full healing from these wounds we must recognize them, keep our focus on Jesus, and spend time with our Heavenly Father in order for true healing to flow.
