Nelson County, Virginia- On August 3, 2013, 17‑year‑old Alexis Murphy left her home in central Virginia, heading towards Lynchburg to get her hair done for senior picture day. Alexis was last seen that evening at a gas station in Lovingston, captured by surveillance video walking to her white sedan—but she never returned home.

When Alexis failed to return home by curfew, authorities launched an intensive search. Three days later, her car was discovered in a Charlottesville movie theater parking lot—but Alexis was nowhere to be found.

Investigators obtained surveillance photos linking a middle‑aged man to her at the gas station, followed by her vehicle along Route 29, which would highlight other disappearances along the same stretch of highway, but also The Murphy family agonizing seven-year fight to find out what happened to Alexis.

Listen to Season 6: Episode 5 to find out how this shocking case unfolds.

Rest in Peace- Alexis Murphy. Gone But Never Forgotten. 🕊️🙏
