Keianna Rae Harrison-Williams was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, and moved to Indianapolis in 2004 to advance her career. She is married and the proud mother of two children, ages 11 and 13. With a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Public Relations, a master’s in Applied Behavioral Science, and a Ph.D. in Behavioral Science, Keianna Rae (KR) blends creativity with research-based insight to shape how people experience space.

What began as a passion for design and storytelling evolved into a mission to transform both spaces and lives. After more than 15 years in corporate communications and brand strategy, KR founded HER Design Build, a firm rooted in craftsmanship, collaboration, and purpose. Her vision soon expanded into HER Home Design Boutique, where curated furnishings and finishes bring personality and polish to every project, and HER Home Design Academy, where her workforce-training programs—known as the Prototype Series—prepare the next generation of design-build professionals.

Today, HER LLC stands at the intersection of design, construction, and education. Under KR’s leadership, the HER brand is redefining design-build excellence through innovation, inclusion, and impact—building beautiful, functional environments while creating pathways for education, opportunity, and community growth.
