In November 1996, a routine Ethiopian Airlines flight left Addis Ababa… but it would never reach its intended destination. What began as an ordinary journey quickly spiralled into chaos at 30,000 feet, leaving passengers and crew facing unthinkable terror in the skies.

This week, we explore the story of Flight 961 — a case that shocked the world, tested the limits of survival, and raised chilling questions about what really happens when control of an aircraft is lost.
