Travis was a first round pick of the Toronto Blue Jays (14th overall) back in the 2006 Amateur Draft and made his debut at Yankee Stadium just two years later at the age of 20. He went on to play 630 games in the MLB stretched across eight seasons.
Now as a retired suburban Dad, Travis is living out his second story as a mental health advocate in both youth sports and professional sports through a company he co-founded called 3A Athletics.
Travis dealt with his own mental health challenges through his youth as well as his time as a professional athlete and shares his incredible insights into what it is to be a professional athlete and a parent struggling with mental health concerns.
