Globalisation and the demand for organisations to be more innovative and cater to a broader audience than ever before, means that in the Future of Work, diversity is not just a tick-box exercise but an essential part of your success. Diversity means a lot of things: From Baby Boomers to Millennials and Gen Z, gender and sexual identity, race and culture, as well as disability. Inclusion means to incorporate all of these diversifying factors into a cohesive whole. Diversity and inclusion isn’t a mere quota or KPI to fulfil on. If your organisation doesn’t reflect on what its broader environment looks like, you’re solving problems for yourself, by yourself.
