Excited to share my chat with Julie Barth, a mother of six and trauma survivor whose mission is to transform personal hardship into inspiration and advocacy.

Julie shares openly and vulnerably about her journey of mothering a special needs child and losing her husband to pancreatic cancer, and how she coped with all the ups and downs that came along.

She reminds everyone of the importance of cherishing the small moments and doing our best to turn challenges into opportunities, and describes how her private notes written on a Blackberry during her husband's illness became an inspirational, healing, and uplifting book.

Julie's book: Notes from a Blackberry

Julie's website: JulieBarthAuthor.net

Colin James Barth Outreach: CJBOutreach.org (a nonprofit dedicated to helping women-led households with the resources and aid necessary to find security and stability in times of crisis)
