Now, the group returns to the ancient temple ruins that Anastasia and her band of thieves were using as a hideout. Upon reuniting with Ren and his newly found alter personality, our hero's fear that he may have tripped up a hidden mind trap, same as Mora, and feel even more urgency to get him back to Almas for treatment at the same Asylum Mora had been brought too. Continuing on with their plan, our young Pathfinders head out, taking the shortcut that had been shown to them by the two Halflings scouts, just a day before. Ambushed by a Hill giant, thinking he's found his next human snack, our hero's must find a way to survive as Mora's life may hang in the balance and time is not on their side.
