The iconic JoJo's Bizarre Adventure franchise has had several story arcs aside from those in the anime that could easily become their own series, with characters such as Kishibe Rohan even getting spinoff manga of their own. Now, the fifth arc in the franchise will finally have one of its follow-ups brought to the U.S. for English-speaking fans.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Purple Smoke Distortion is actually a sequel to a sequel in the "Golden Wind" arc, but fans outside Japan have been unable to read it. That's changing thanks to Viz Media, with the company soon localizing the title in North America. Announced earlier in the year, this localization now has an actual release date, well over a decade after it came out in Japan.
