Australia's Minister for Arts, Tony Burke, has vowed to stand up for the rights of the Australian film and screen industry, in the face of Donald Trump's renewed tariff rhetoric.

It comes as the nation's film and TV industry calls on the federal government to implement local content quotas to shore up the industry.
