Meet Chris Boozer, born and raised in West Philly, and now the proud owner of The Trash Porters. After spending over 12 years incarcerated, Chris came home determined to rewrite his story. He’s worked warehouse jobs, sold cars, and even landed a dealership position only to have doors slammed in his face because of his record.
But instead of giving up, Chris asked God to show him a problem he could solve and the answer came right to his doorstep. That’s how The Trash Porters was born. Today, his company provides doorstep garbage collection for multi-family residences, helping property managers keep communities clean while giving residents peace of mind.
This episode is about more than trash it’s about second chances, ownership, and building a legacy when the world counts you out.
