Despite an underwhelming weekend for Bitcoin and crypto, it's a busy episode today. First, we'll keep up with the tradition of sharing William Suberg's "5 things to know in Bitcoin this week," before unpacking his fifth point about social sentiment. That is, social sentiment around Bitcoin has dropped to its lowest levels of the year, yet that's bullish! Also bullish, MicroStrategy has surpassed the amount of BTC purchased in the past bull run, despite a markedly higher average price per coin. Outside of Bitcoin, Trump has nominated Stephen Miran as Council of Economic Advisors chair; Miran was on a crypto podcast earlier this month. Interpol issues a Red Notice for Hex founder Richard Heart, and Haliey Welch, known for Hawk Tuah, speaks for the first time about the legal case against the HAWK memecoin.
