On this episode of the Rich & Turbo Heavy Half Hour (S2E54), the boys talk to Amos Rifkin from the new Blues Funeral Recordings band Insomniac! Insomniac have their amazing debut record, Om Moksha Ritam, dropping on Sept. 5, 2025, and it is a heavy head trip journey that really sounds like nothing else out there. It is an album that you can just close your eyes and let the record take you over, but is still heavy as hell in its own way. The band lost a member just a few weeks ago, as founding guitarist Mike Morris passed away, but the band is soldiering on in his honor, as hard as that may be. Amos discusses all of the emotions that go along with this gigantic loss while putting out this record as well as a ton of other topics about the new record and the band, including the tour they are doing, opening for Kal-El.
