The Miracles Before the Miracle – Devotional on Matthew 15:29–31

In this episode, we explore Matthew 15:29–31, where Jesus heals great crowds on a mountainside — the lame, the blind, the mute, and so many more. This wasn’t one miracle. It was thousands. A wave of healing that revealed the compassion and kingdom power of Christ.

What makes this passage so powerful is that not everyone healed had “great faith.” Some were brought by the faith of friends. Some barely knew who Jesus was. Some may not have even thanked Him. But Jesus healed them anyway.

This devotional reminds us that:

  • Jesus meets us at different levels of faith — strong, weak, or even absent
  • Sometimes another person’s faith can carry us into a miracle
  • Miracles are not about building crowds, but about revealing the Father’s heart

Reflection Question: Are you willing to carry someone else to Jesus, even if they don’t yet believe?
Challenge: Today, intercede for someone, encourage them, or step in with compassion. Their miracle might begin with your faith.

Join us as we walk through Matthew’s Gospel, seeing how Jesus meets people where they are — and how His kingdom touches earth in powerful, personal ways.
