Have you ever wondered how to help grieving employees at work? Or how to comfort an employee suffering from emotional loss? ❤️‍🩹

🎙️In this episode, Kelli talks with Michele about dealing with grief and loss in the workplace and how employers can provide grief support. It can be difficult for companies to know how to support employees, but this podcast gives advice on what to say and what not to say to those coping with grief. Find real hope, real healing, and real tools for grief recovery. 🌱

It can be difficult for companies to know how to mentally and emotionally support their employees, but study after study proves that this is exactly what the workforce wants – and sometimes can lead to their decisions for staying with a company.

A loss of a loved one, by suicide or another tragedy, can make it difficult for workers to be productive. Even if employers want to help, leaders and HR can sometimes negatively impact a worker's emotional healing journey by saying the wrong things. Women who have miscarriages are often told that they, "are still young and can have more kids," but this type of language is not helpful

Misconceptions surrounding grief and misinformation such as "replace the loss" or "be strong" will not improve a grieving employees' work performance.

This podcast talks about the importance of vulnerability between coworkers and their employers, and gives advice on what to say and what not to say to those suffering from emotional loss. 🌱
