The Celtics have had some tough years in the NBA playoffs. The year we almost made the finals and lost Kyrie right as the playoff run began. Each game we needed Gordan Hayward in the playoffs he magically would acquire an injury the game or even night before. Jason Tatum and Jaylen Brown battled for who deserved to be the alpha on the Boston Celtics roster. As it turns out all it touch was a change in the head coach. Ime Udokah has been an otherworldly acquisition for the Boston Celtics. He has shaped this team into a team that plays defense first. Moves the ball around the court until we find the open shooter that the defense does not respect enough. We make teams pay for leaving a mismatch defensively on the court which can force the hand of opposing coaches to alter their late game lineups. The players rally around their head coach and the amount of passion he carries. Fitting considering this Boston Celtics team is full of personalities and emotionally driven players. Guys who leave it all out on the court, dive for every loose ball. The Celtics roster is in good hands and after watching game one of the NBA Finals the future mat be right now.
