In this inaugural episode of the Redemptive Economics Fundamentals series, Mike Hatch lays the biblical foundation for integrating faith and work. Drawing from the Parable of the Bags of Gold (Matthew 25:14–30), he explores why our view of God’s character is the primary determining factor in how we steward resources and invest for kingdom impact.

Mike contrasts two mindsets—trusting God versus distrusting God—to show how we either develop an abundance mentality that creates value or a scarcity mentality that leads to hoarding or exploitation. Ultimately, he encourages listeners to pursue redemptive economics by seeing themselves as God’s active stewards, leveraging their unique gifts, and aligning their business goals with eternal kingdom purposes.
