Welcome to the Pining For Pixels podcast! This is my video game variety show podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. This week I was feeling nostalgic, thinking about some of my earliest gaming memories with the NES. It got me thinking about how I had defined the NES era in my mind as a child, and this shared language we all have of those experiences despite not being connected like we are all so easily able to be today. This list of 10 games and franchises is personal to me, and by no means absolute. I imagine most people's list would look much the same, but possibly for different reasons.
