The Top 100 returns just in time for a mid-October Halloween treat. The original Diablo was a revelation when it first arrived. This was the first Blizzard game to explore fantasy outside of the WarCraft universe, and a true stab at a gothic horror atmosphere. This game introduced the roguelike style of gameplay to a wider audience than ever before it, and this was well before it became a big sensation like it has become today. All of this was coming from a Studio that Blizzard acquired just the year before! This was the first game to use Battle Net, and the first entry in what would become one of Blizzard's franchise pillars.
