The issue of women's ordination has become a wedge issue in the Adventist Church, polarising communities and dividing "conservative' and "liberal" Adventists. Parties on either side will argue "YES!" or "NO!", but is there a third route we can take to understanding the issue?
For the next two weeks, we will be joined by Dr Darius Jankiewicz, the South Pacific Division Field/Ministerial secretary, who has done decades of research in this area. This week, we will discuss the concept of ordination generally. Then next week, we will delve deeper into the topic of women's ordination specifically.
