Hilton Head in November is loaded — oysters, lanterns on the beach at night, bonfires in Sea Pines, Santa at Shelter Cove, live music everywhere, and legit holiday magic.

In this Real Talk Hilton Head episode, David & Dale sit down with Erika Hayes from Island Events Magazine / HiltonHead.com to break down the best events, festivals, and family things to do on Hilton Head (plus Bluffton / Sea Pines / Shelter Cove) this month.

WHAT’S HAPPENING IN NOVEMBER:
• Crescendo Arts & Culture Season → live orchestra in Celebration Park, galleries, performances, and “Redemption,” a powerful exhibit at Art League Gallery through Nov 7.
• Gallery of Gifts (Nov 18–Jan 3) → local artists, handmade gifts under $100. Shop local instead of big-box.
• The Nutcracker (Nov 14–23) → Hilton Head Dance Theatre tradition, student performers.
• Disney’s Frozen at Arts Center (opens Nov 26) → kid-friendly, full production, yes your kids can dress up.
• Hilton Head Oyster Festival (Nov 7–8 @ Shelter Cove Community Park) → $60 adult / $45 kid under 10 / VIP tables. All-you-can-eat oysters, pulled pork, Lowcountry Boil, hush puppies, shrimp & grits, chili, dessert. Live music + afterparty at The Bank.
• Concours d’Elegance & Motoring Festival → classic cars, vintage planes, style, Lowcountry vibe. Shuttle tips and why the planes steal the show.
• Sea Pines Bonfire (Nov 14) → Salty Dog catering, Target Band, fundraiser for the Forest Preserve. Bring chairs/blanket/bug spray.
• Hilton Head Lantern Parade (Nov 22) → you don’t just watch, you walk in it. Lanterns start at Alder Lane Beach and end at Lowcountry Celebration Park. Pure magic on the sand.
• Sea Pines Wagon Rides (Nov 24–29) + Caramel Apple Fest (Nov 29 @ Heritage Farm) → fall family stuff, cozy, low-key, great with younger kids.
• Thanksgiving Turkey Trot 5K → costumes, strollers welcome, benefits Deep Well (local charity that feeds Hilton Head families).
• Greg Russell Thanksgiving Concert + Harbour Town Tree Lighting (Nov 28) → holiday kickoff, Harbour Town lit up through Jan 1.
• Santa arrives at Shelter Cove (Nov 28) → photos, train rides, lights, shopping.

LOCAL INSIDER / DISCOUNT:
Island Head is still running boats in November (sunset dinner cruises, dolphin tours, Lowcountry boil cruises, even yoga on the boat and DeFuskie trips). Perfect for corporate holiday parties or client appreciation.
