UGA Mentor Program Ambassador, Kyla Edwards (BS '22), returns to speak with UGA alumnus, Cecil Threat (ABJ '82), to discuss their experiences as Black students at UGA and within the broader community.
Cecil studied journalism within the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication and minored in political science. He went on to receive his maters in public health from Emory University. Cecil is now retired after having an over 32-year career as a Public Health Advisor for the CDC.
