Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t not tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s.

So why is there a picture of spinach featured in the playlist for this week’s show? Well, because for no particular reason we have a “Spinach” segment! I happen to like spinach and in working on this week;s show, I found out that there is such a thing as “Spinach Cake!” I may like spinach, but I’m afraid I draw the line at spinach cake. This weekend I was in Sutter Creek for the 27th Annual Historic Sutter Creek Ragtime Festival, so in the first segment we’ll find ourselves up several creeks. Fortunately, however, in the third segment, we have some paddles! In other segments we’ll celebrate Chick Story’s birthday and in the final segment we’ll get the low down. There’s lots of great music and interesting information so set aside an hour with your favorite beverage and prepare to be transported back to a different–and we think better–musical era. Just click the link above to listen streaming online and/or download for listening at your convenience.

THANKS FOR LISTENING! ENJOY THE SHOW!
