Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t not tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s.

Do you know who this lovely lady is? She’s legendary violinist Maud Powell, at the turn of the century one of the finest, and most famous violinists in the world. You’ll find out a bit about her fascinating life in the first segment of the show with three examples of her virtuosity. Besides Maud Powell, Eddie Durham also gets a birthday segment this week. We’ll also have an “awful” segment, and two segment reflecting recent news stories, one about alleys and one about toys.
