Tall Paul is a Native Hip Hop artist, public speaker, and workshop facilitator from Minneapolis, Minnesota.
He is Anishinaabe and Oneida, and his ancestral roots flow from the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe in Northern Minnesota.
Born and raised in South Minneapolis, Tall Paul's music strongly reflects his inner-city upbringing. His most recent album entitled “The Story of Jim Thorpe” explores and revisits the life and legacy of Jim Thorpe, the first Native American to win an Olympic gold medal, and discusses his influence and importance in the 21st century.
