Neil Gyte is on a mission to help 1 Billion people become Metabolically Healthy. He does this through 1bmh, a movement geared to simplify education on why Metabolic Health is important and provide tools to help people on their Metabolic Health Journey.

He currently serves as the Chief Business Officer at RxSugar, a company aiming to revolutionize the sugar industry with allulose, a metabolically healthy sugar alternative.

In this episode, we discuss the importance of metabolic health and its impact on overall well-being. Neil shares why metabolic health matters, the role of carbohydrates, and his approach to health through an evolutionary biology lens.

We discuss what Neil learned about himself, the human body and the mind through taking on extreme physical challenges such as a 22-mile swim FASTED and the lessons it taught him about the mind-body connection.

Finally, we explore the potential of allulose as a sugar alternative and the scientific evidence behind it!
