The bath, book and bedtime regime for kids is well established in many Australian households.
But not every kid is motivated to read, or can really connect with a book, particularly if they don't find characters they can identify with.
Ailsa Wild is a children's author and for the last 15 years has been helping kids develop and publish their own books, so they can better see themselves represented in what they're reading.
