The resignation of West Australian Liberal MP Andrew Hastie from the opposition frontbench opens yet another wound for the Coalition as parliament resumes this week.
Today, there are reports former opposition leader, Peter Dutton, has blamed Mr Hastie for the Coalition's election loss.
But Acting Shadow Minister for Home Affairs, James Paterson, says he does not agree with Mr Dutton's reported assessment of Mr Hastie's performance on the campaign trail.
