US poised to reduce China tariffs following Trump-Xi meeting

US President Donald Trump and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping have taken steps to de-escalate their trade war following a meeting at an international airport in South Korea yesterday.
Following the talks, US is now set to reduce some tariffs for Chinese imports.
There will also be a pause in Beijing's new restrictions on rare earth minerals and magnets, and a resumption of its purchases of American soybeans
