In this second episode of the new season of Seeking Truth, Deacon Don and Fr Pat explore the Second and Third Commandment, the holiness of God and observing the Sabbath day. They explain why it is wrong to use the holy name of God in any improper way as a blasphemy. Also how God blesses the Sabbath day because on the Sabbath day one remembers God’s rest on the seventh day of creation and also the liberation of Israel from slavery in Egypt and the covenant which God sealed with his people. Christians keep Sunday and other days of obligation holy by participating in the Eucharist of the Lord.
