A Corporate trainer turned artist and entrepreneur, Ghazal Alagh, co-founded Mamaearth, driven by the passion for making early parenting, stress-free. As of 2022, Mama Earth has been valued at $1.2 billion.

Ghazal was also invited to judge the startup empowerment show, Shark Tank, India. Besides being a successful entrepreneur and devoted mother, Ghazal has also been recognized amongst the top 10 women artists in India, nationally and internationally.

She was also recently awarded Fortune India’s Most Powerful Woman in Business.
In our interview with her, Ghazal talks about how her upbringing shaped the person she is today, her shift from computer applications to the world of painting to finally becoming an entrepreneur, the hardwork that went behind establishing MamaEarth, the importance of having a good relationship with your investors, the biases she faced as a woman entrepreneur and much more!
